Why should I pick Texas Karate Academy??

 

We are a CHARACTER building school. We just don't teach how to kick and punch. We help your child grow, in a ALWAYS

positive atmosphere and set new goals EVERYDAY! We strive on helping each student that walks through our door to help them with their goals they want to accomplish. We study Amercian Freestyle Karate-you learn KARATE-Tae Kwon DO -Judo Aikidio-Jeet Kune Do- Kickboxing and Jiu-Jitsu.TKA offers the newest and latest equipment for all your training needs. TKA is the biggest martial art facility in the Golden Triangle. 2,900 sq ft of workout space.  A weight room with treadmills. Full showers for men and women. A breakroom and comfortable lobby for your enjoyment.

What if I took martial arts in the past, will I have to start over?

That depends on you. Your time involved in the martial arts, your current rank. That is determined over a panel of instructors here, that they will discuss with you.

Do I have to sign a contract??

No. You train you pay we keep it simple.

How long does it take to become BLACK BELT level?

The average time is 4 to 5 years here. Again, this depends on how much you come to class and how hard you train. TKA does not hand out belts. You earn your belts with practice and patience.
